Born in 1969, making me 41 years young - I now live in the Cambridgeshire village of Wilburton. I grew up in the Cheshire village of Weaverham, where I attended the local schools - Weaverham Forest Street and Weaverham High School - in the old days of 'O' levels.
After school came college, this being Sir John Deane's College in nearby Northwich - travelling on various vintage buses provided by Walkers Coaches (and boy were they cold on a winters day!). With a handfull of 'A' levels, I gained a place at Southampton Univeristy, and after several years of study, I ventured out as an IT Contractor. The details of years and the places I lived are covered in A Brief History.
Amongst the years of studying and working, I have been lucky to include a fair amount of travelling, around the UK, Europe, and as far afield as New Zealand. I hope to add a few more destinations to the list in the following years.
There also seems to come a time in your life when all your mates get married - involving a variety of stag dos to attend - funnily enough there aren't that many photos to go with those trips! That time of life came my way in 2004 when I got married to Sandra.
Back in Wilburton, we have been lucky to be welcomed into village life - and I am now on the Beer Festival Committee and the '77 Committee (fireworks). Having attending the events when we moved to the village, and enjoying them immensely, I decided it was time to lend a hand. It's hard work, but well worth it, and both events raise money for the local community.
Well, that's enough about me for now - the rest of the site has more snippets of me and my life, and even a few photos. If you reckon you know me and want to get in contact again, then please do so through the Contact Me page.
